Twitter has unveiled a new innovative advertising strategy that promises additional revenue for the social networking site. The concept will involve new ad product suggested to users as part of the “Who to Follow” feature.

The “Promoted Accounts” will recommend accounts to users they might want to follow, based on their Twitter network. Once a company decides to promote its account, then, the site will automatically analyze the company’s current list of followers, and determine which other handles they tend to follow.
