Looking to follow President Obama on the campaign trail this election season? Foursquare‘s got all the insider tips you’ll need to keep track of the Commander In Chief on the road.
On Monday evening, the official White House Blog announced the launch of a new Foursquare account, just in time for Obama’s three-day bus tour across the Midwest, which kicked off in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, on Monday and will make stops in Decorah and Peosta, Iowa, as well as Atkinson and Alpha, Illinois. At each of the stops, the president will hold a town hall-style meeting to discuss jobs and the economy.
According to the explanatory blog post, those who follow the White House on Foursquare will be able to “[s]ee the places the President and administration officials visit around the country and the world, follow news and events by location, learn about the White House and more.” Tourists can now check in at the White House, and so can attendees at the president’s future town hall gatherings.
