CNET has reported that Google’s Chrome web browser is now used by one out of every ten Internet users on the planet. According to statistics from Net Applications, Chrome rose from 9.3 percent to 10 percent in the last month. The average-performing IE7 also saw a drastic drop from 9.5 to 8.8 percent. Microsoft breathed new life into IE with their Internet Explorer 9 beta, which has seen a fair adoption increase from 0.4 percent in November to 0.5 percent in December.
Mozilla Firefox stayed the same at 22.8percent market-share. In that sense, Chrome has scaled up pretty well for a browser that’s just a little over two years old.
