Scores that matter: Reputation secretly scored for Tweeters

Twitter founder Evan Williams disclosed onstage at Web 2.0 Summit, that Twitter has a private reputation score for every user.

When William was questioned by an interviewer about the criteria to pick-‘Who to Follow’, he clarified – Twitter’s “science and math people” have systems which gauge who you follow and who the people you follow follow and try to find ‘Who to Follow’ relevance in that overlap.

Although he didn’t reveal how individual user reputation score was measured. Regarding the score he says, “We might make it public, but it has to evolve more.”
